My name is Robert Howie, and together with my wife June, we process Australian opal, supply tools and equipment related to the processing of opal and other gemstones. Fortunately, we have a good relationship with a number of opal miners who are able to supply our needs at times.

At Diverse Opal Products we don’t specialize in any one aspect of opal, only that we offer Australian opal, and try to give the best quality at the fairest price. Although Robert has been in this industry since 1978, he believes there is always something new to be learnt. We cut and polish or process raw material from Andamooka, Coober Pedy and Mintabie, opal bearing locations in South Australia. These well established fields are known for their bright crystal through to stunning black and semi black opal.

We also work with boulder opal from Winton, Quilpie, Yowah and Jundah in Queensland, Australia.
