Used Opal Cutting Machinery
The following list of machines is from professional opal cutters who have retired. They are factory built so parts are available if required in the future. I understand that not everyone wants a motor because of voltage differences. Also money can be saved on shipping because of less weight. So, they can be removed. I you require an image I will be happy to email one.
I would just like to say something about Gemmasta Machines. I had the privilege of working for Gemmasta for a short time and I got to see firsthand the effort that went it to making each machine. Each machine is made from a combination of none rusting materials such as aluminium (bodies and guards), stainless steel (shafts) and brass (nuts). As I have said previously in my Cuttings Tips, the machine I use daily is over 30 years old. Every 5 years or more, I replace the bearings and belt.
