Warranty/Returns/Exchanges

At Diverse Opal Products, we take pride in our workmanship and all items leave our studio free from manufacturing defects.  However, we understand that a photograph is not the same as holding a stone or a piece of jewellery in your hand.  So, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return the item or exchange it for another.  We will refund you the purchase price excluding postage and packaging.  The items need to be returned in original condition, with the original packaging and within 30 days of purchasing. We need notification by email of items being returned. No refund will given until the items being returned are received.

Payment Options

We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard)
    • We understand that you may be concerned about credit card security over the internet, so please read the Payment Security section below.
    • All online credit card orders are charged upfront, at the time the order is made. We do this to validate the order and to reduce order processing time. This ensures that as a customer, all you need to do is sit back and wait for your delivery to arrive.
  • PayPal
    • PayPal is a safe and popular choice for transferring funds over the internet.

  • Bank Cheque or Money Order
    • We accept bank cheques and money orders from Australian customers only.
    • Bank cheques and money orders must be made payable to Diverse Opal Products and should be mailed to:

    • To assist us with processing your payment, please make sure you include your Order Number with your payment.
    • Customers will be notified by email to confirm that Diverse Opal Products has received payment and that the cheque or money order has cleared. The order will then be shipped.
    • If Diverse Opal Products does not receive payment for an order within 7 days of the order date, the order will be cancelled and the customer will be notified by email.

Payment Security

Diverse Opal Products uses PayPal to process all credit card payments. PayPal is a trusted and secure system that uses industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption technology to secure all commerce  transactions. As such, Diverse Opal Products does not see or store your credit card details on our system.

Shipping

All goods will be sent by Australia Post, unless another form of shipping is arranged. Unfortunately, insurance cannot be offered to all destinations.

Australian Customers

Goods shipped within Australia can be sent by either standard post or registered post. Please note that goods being sent by standard post are not covered by insurance if lost. So, we recommend goods be registered.

Australia Post Standard Mail $5.00.

Australia Post Registered Mail $5.00 plus $1.15 for every $100.00 worth of value.

International Customers

 

Goods shipped overseas can be sent by either airmail or insured airmail. Please note that goods being sent by airmail are not covered by insurance if lost. So, we recommend goods be insured where possible.

 

International Airmail $10.00.

 

International Airmail with Insurance $10.00 plus $7.85 for the first $100.00 plus $2.10 for every $100.00 worth of value thereafter.

All stones and jewellery pieces for sale at this site are photographed with a standard digital camera. If you would like to see a stone from a different angle, please email us.  Please note that the images are not to scale. Please refer to the dimensions provided.
